Duties

Perform a variety of manicure and pedicure services, including classic, gel, acrylic, and nail extensions, ensuring precision and customer satisfaction
Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable nail polish shades and designs that complement each client's style
Conduct advanced nail treatments such as dermabrasion, nail care routines, and esthetic laser treatments when applicable
Maintain strict sanitation and disinfection procedures for all tools, equipment, and workstations in accordance with salon safety protocols
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide expert advice on nail care, and upsell retail products to enhance their experience
Stay current with industry trends like eyelash extensions, hair styling, body waxing, hair threading, and other beauty services to offer comprehensive client solutions
Manage retail sales efficiently using retail math skills to maximize revenue while providing excellent customer service

Qualifications

Proven experience working as a manicurist or nail technician within the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of nail art and design work
Knowledge of color theory, nail extensions (including acrylics), gel manicures, and manicure techniques
Familiarity with salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and client communication best practices
Certification in cosmetology or esthetician licensing as required by local regulations
Ability to perform additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling or barbering is a plus
Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their needs
Strong retail sales skills combined with upselling abilities to promote products confidently

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
