Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Manicurist role based at 3YsBeauty Bar in Chicago, IL. The Manicurist will perform manicures and related nail care services, including nail shaping, cuticle care, polish application, and basic nail treatments. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with clients on preferred styles, providing nail art and specialty services when requested, and maintaining a clean, hygienic workstation in accordance with health and safety standards. The role also involves managing appointment flow, recommending appropriate products or services, and delivering attentive customer service to ensure a positive client experience. The Manicurist will collaborate with the salon team, support daily operations, and contribute to a professional and welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

Strong skills in Nail Care and Nails, including manicures and basic nail treatments.Experience or training in Cosmetology, with knowledge of salon hygiene and safety standards.Ability to create and apply Nail Art, and stay current with nail trends and techniques.Excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on communication, professionalism, and client satisfaction.Valid state cosmetology or nail technician license (Illinois) or eligibility to obtain one.Attention to detail, good time management, and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented salon environment.Willingness to work a full-time schedule, including peak hours, evenings, or weekends as needed.Previous salon or spa experience is preferred but not required; ongoing training and development support may be provided.
