Responsibilities

Perform a variety of hair services including styling, braiding, coloring, extensions, and hair treatments with precision and careMaintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment in accordance with health regulationsConsult with clients to understand their hair goals, recommend suitable styles or treatments, and ensure satisfaction throughout the serviceManage appointment scheduling efficiently using salon software such as MINDBODY or similar platformsUpsell retail products like hair care items, styling tools, and accessories to enhance client results and salon revenueProvide expert advice on hair care routines, color theory applications, and maintenance tips tailored to individual needsAssist with front desk duties including client check-in/out, answering inquiries, and supporting store management when neededMentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair threading, eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, and other beauty servicesSkills

Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a hairstylist or barber with a strong portfolio of diverse stylesProficiency in salon software systems such as MINDBODY for scheduling and client managementExpertise in hair coloring techniques, hair extensions installation, and advanced styling methodsKnowledge of sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staffSkilled in the use of tools like straight razors for precise cuts and detailingExcellent communication skills for effective client consultation and team collaborationAbility to upsell retail products confidently while providing exceptional customer serviceFamiliarity with retail math to manage sales transactions accuratelyCertification in cosmetology or barbering is required; additional skills in eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, or threading are a plusStrong store management understanding to support daily operations and client flowJoin our energetic team where your talent makes a difference!
