Duties

Consult with clients to determine their desired loc styles, maintenance needs, and hair health goals
Create, install, and maintain various types of locs using techniques such as palm rolling, interlocking, or twisting
Perform hair extensions, threading, and other hair styling services to enhance client looks
Educate clients on proper loc maintenance, sanitation practices, and product recommendations
Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in accordance with health regulations and salon standards

Requirements

Strong knowledge of color theory, sanitation protocols, and hair health maintenance
Skilled in advanced techniques including straight razor shaving, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care (nice-to-have)
Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with diverse clients and team members
