Joining our Sugarloaf club as a Life. Spa Stylist means being part of a team that's all about helping guests feel their best. You'll provide hair services and treatments—think haircuts, perms, coloring, highlighting, and foiling—that go beyond just a service to genuinely enhance the overall sense of well-being we're known for. Every interaction is an opportunity to create an experience that exceeds expectations, and your expertise will be the foundation.
Day to day, you'll work with each client to understand their needs and deliver personalized hair services that fit their lifestyle. You'll also educate clients on Life. Spa and Salon products and treatments, helping them maintain their style long after they leave the chair. As a true expert in hair analysis and maintenance regimens, you'll keep up with the latest trends and techniques, and you'll promote our full range of products and services throughout each appointment. Staying current on certifications is expected, and keeping your workstation spotless and up to salon standards goes without saying.
What you'll need to bring: a High School Diploma or GED, completion of cosmetology school, and 1 to 3 years of experience as a stylist. You must hold a valid cosmetology license in the state where the work is performed, and be able to perform a variety of hair services and treatments. You should also be comfortable calculating figures and amounts—like discounts, interest, and commissions—and physically capable of sitting, standing, walking, reaching, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds. While it's not a requirement, experience as a stylist in a professional setting and familiarity with Salon Biz software are preferred.
