Duties

Perform a variety of hair services including cuts, color treatments, styling, extensions, and special occasion updos with precision and flair.Utilize advanced techniques such as hair threading, eyelash extensions, and makeup application to enhance client looks.Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools and workstations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.Use salon software systems like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently.Offer personalized consultations to understand client needs, recommend suitable treatments, and upsell retail products like hair care, nail care items, and styling tools.Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in hair styling, color theory, and barbering techniques to provide innovative services.Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in store management practices, customer service excellence, and technical skills.Qualifications

Valid cosmetology or barbering license required; additional certifications in eyelash extensions or makeup application are a plus.Proven experience in hair styling, coloring, extensions (including hair extensions), and retail sales within a salon setting.Strong communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members alike.Knowledge of salon software platforms such as MINDBODY for appointment booking and client management.Familiarity with sanitation protocols, store management procedures, and retail math for accurate product upselling.Ability to perform detailed services like straight razor shaves or hair threading with precision.Passion for continuous learning about new techniques in nail care, hair styling trends, and customer service excellence.
