Responsibilities • Perform professional nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and care • Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable nail treatments or enhancements • Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by properly sterilizing tools and adhering to health regulations • Stay updated on the latest nail trends, techniques, and products to provide innovative services • Upsell retail nail care products and accessories to enhance client results and boost sales • Assist clients with skin care treatments such as dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments when applicable • Build strong relationships through excellent communication skills, ensuring a positive customer experience that encourages repeat visits Qualifications • Valid cosmetology license with certification as a Licensed Nail Technician or equivalent in your state or country • Proven experience in nail care services including color theory application and nail art design • Knowledge of sanitation procedures and health regulations related to personal care services • Familiarity with additional beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair extensions, hair threading, or esthetic laser treatments is a plus • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse clients • Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining a genuine focus on client satisfaction • Basic retail math skills for managing product sales and inventory
