As a licensed professional, you will also engage with clients to recommend retail products, upsell services, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere that keeps clients coming back. Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and texturizing treatments with precision and creativityProvide expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and styling techniques tailored to each client’s needsUse salon software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process transactions efficientlyConduct consultations to understand client preferences and suggest suitable hairstyles or treatmentsMaintain impeccable sanitation standards by sterilizing tools, cleaning workstations, and adhering to health regulationsOffer additional services such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, hair threading, makeup application, and nail care to enhance client satisfactionEngage in retail sales by upselling hair products, styling tools, and beauty accessories to maximize revenue opportunitiesAssist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling inquiries professionallyMentor junior staff members or apprentices to foster skill development and team cohesionStay updated on current trends in hair styling, coloring techniques, barbering styles including straight razor shaves, and new industry innovationsExperience Valid cosmetology license or barbering license issued by the state or relevant authorityProven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of diverse hair servicesFamiliarity with salon management software such as MINDBODY or similar platformsKnowledge of color theory to achieve desired hues and corrective color techniquesHands-on experience with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care treatments, and makeup application preferredStrong communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team membersAbility to perform sanitation procedures meticulously while maintaining a lively and professional demeanorExperience in retail sales and upselling strategies within a salon environment is highly desirableJoin us in creating beautiful transformations while enjoying a lively work atmosphere where your skills are celebrated!
