Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional hair styling services including cuts, color treatments, styling, and hair extensions to meet diverse client needs.
Provide expert consultations on hair care, color theory, and styling options to ensure client satisfaction.
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with state and local regulations.
Utilize salon software such as Daysmart management, and retail sales tracking.
Offer additional services like eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair threading to enhance the client experience.
Upsell retail products effectively while delivering excellent customer service to boost salon revenue.
Mentor junior stylists or apprentices, sharing techniques in hair styling, barbering (including straight razor shaves), and sanitation practices.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology or barbering license in accordance with state regulations.
Proven experience in hair styling with proficiency in hair extensions, coloring, and advanced techniques such as balayage or highlights.
Strong knowledge of color theory and haircutting techniques.
Familiarity with salon software like Daysmart for scheduling and point-of-sale transactions.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients and team members effectively.
Ability to perform additional services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care.
