Freddie Rose Salon has served Myrtle Beach’s Grande Dunes area for more than 15 years, and we’re growing our team for its next chapter. We’re seeking an experienced extension specialist, an experienced colorist, and a versatile stylist. Stylists set their own schedules and have control over their services and pricing. We value excellent artistry, thoughtful guest care, and a team that communicates directly and supports one another. We may also consider one newer South Carolina-licensed stylist with strong fundamentals.
We have a salon team where great work and a supportive guest experience go together. We value direct, respectful communication, clean shared spaces, teammates who help each other, and stylists who take ownership when a service needs attention.
Responsibilities
Consult with guests to understand their goals and recommend suitable services and at-home care.
Provide services in your specialty, such as extension consultations, installation, maintenance and safe removal; dimensional color, gray coverage, blonding or corrective work; or versatile cutting, styling and finishing.
Maintain high sanitation standards and leave shared spaces ready for the next guest.
Use Vagaro for appointment and client records, booking and checkout.
Recommend retail products that suit each guest’s needs.
Keep up with relevant trends and techniques, and contribute to a collaborative salon team.
Qualifications
Active South Carolina cosmetology license by the start date.
Professional experience and a portfolio that demonstrates your strengths. Newer stylists with excellent fundamentals and coachability are welcome to apply for one seat.
Strong consultation and communication skills, sound sanitation practices, reliability and a team-first approach.
Commission and estimated earnings
Service commission ranges from 40% to 50% of commissionable service revenue, based on experience and production. Stylists also receive 100% of tips and 10% commission on credited net retail sales.
Estimated monthly earnings are $4,000–$9,000, based on approximately $6,500–$14,000 in monthly service sales and projected tips. This is an estimate, not guaranteed pay; actual earnings vary with service volume. The estimate excludes retail commission. Full written compensation terms will be provided before an offer is accepted.
