Role Description This is an on-site Licensed Hair Stylist role based in Santa Fe Springs, CA. The stylist will perform day-to-day services including hair cutting, coloring, styling, blowouts, and treatments tailored to each client’s needs and preferences. Responsibilities include consulting with clients, recommending appropriate services and products, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and ensuring all tools and equipment meet sanitation standards. The role involves managing appointment schedules, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to a positive, inclusive salon atmosphere. The stylist will also participate in ongoing education, support salon promotions, and collaborate with colleagues to help grow the business.

Qualifications

Active California cosmetology license (or eligibility to obtain) and demonstrated proficiency in cutting, coloring, and styling hair.Strong client consultation skills, including the ability to listen, recommend services, and communicate clearly and respectfully.Commitment to hygiene and safety standards, including proper sanitation of tools, equipment, and work areas.Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on building long-term client relationships and providing a welcoming experience to all clients.Reliability in attendance and time management, with the ability to work salon hours that may include evenings and weekends.Willingness to participate in ongoing training, stay informed about trends and techniques, and learn new products and services.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a respectful, inclusive workplace culture.Previous salon experience is preferred but motivated early-career professionals are encouraged to apply.
