Responsibilities

Perform a variety of hair services including cuts, color treatments, styling, and hair extensions tailored to each client’s preferences and needs
Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process transactions efficiently
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with industry regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
Provide expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and styling techniques to enhance client satisfaction
Communicate clearly with clients to understand their desired looks and offer professional suggestions based on color theory and current trends
Upsell additional services like makeup application or specialized treatments to maximize client experience and salon revenue
Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair styling, barbering (including straight razor work), and customer service best practices

Requirements

Valid cosmetology or barbering license with active certification to perform professional hair services
Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of diverse hairstyles, coloring techniques, and hair extensions
Proficiency with salon management software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms
Knowledge of sanitation standards, store management practices, and industry safety protocols
Excellent communication skills for effective client consultation and team collaboration
Ability to perform a wide range of services including hair coloring, styling, makeup application, and haircutting using tools like straight razors when appropriate
Strong understanding of hair care products, color theory, and current beauty trends
Passion for delivering outstanding customer service with a friendly, professional demeanor

Pay: $500.00 - $2,669.58 per week
