Job Overview

Duties

Provide professional hair styling, coloring, cutting, and finishing services tailored to client preferences
Perform specialized treatments such as hair extensions and straight razor shaves with precision and care
Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene in accordance with industry regulations
Use salon software systems Square to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process transactions efficiently
Engage with clients through effective communication to understand their needs and recommend suitable hair care products or services for upselling opportunities
Educate clients on hair care routines, product usage, and current trends to enhance their overall experience
Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques and best practices to foster skill development and team cohesion

Experience

Valid state licensure as a Cosmetologist or Barber with active certification in hair styling and barbering techniques
Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of diverse hairstyles and color applications
Knowledge of color theory, sanitation protocols, and advanced hair coloring techniques
Hands-on experience with hair extensions application and makeup artistry is a plus
Excellent communication skills for client consultations, team collaboration, and upselling products or services
Demonstrated ability to mentor colleagues while maintaining high standards of customer service and professionalism

Pay: $17.00 - $39.00 per hour
