We’re a commission-based salon in downtown Portland, Maine, designed for stylists who want creative freedom, real support, and the ability to earn well doing what they do best. Our team is made up of individuals with distinct aesthetics, strengths, and points of view — and we see that as one of our greatest assets. Our service pricing reflects the high quality we hold our team to, which means your commission directly reflects that value. We’ve built systems to remove friction so you can focus purely on your craft: clear scheduling, transparent compensation, ongoing education, and a culture rooted in respect and accountability. Commission starts at 40% with earning potential up to 50% based on revenue, client retention, and skill — with no booth rental overhead, no inventory management, no back-end busywork eating into your hours. Our system is designed to help you grow professionally, we want you to succeed!

What We’re Looking For

Valid Maine Cosmetology License (required)
A genuine passion for the craft and curiosity to keep growing
Strong communication skills and professionalism with clients
Someone who thrives with autonomy and also shows up for their team
A stylist who wants to focus on developing their trade
