*Job Summary** We are seeking a dynamic and talented Licensed Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team! As a licensed professional, you will also provide personalized consultations, recommend products, and deliver exceptional customer service to foster lasting relationships. This position will be paid by commission or pay booth rent and keep 100% of services. No hourly pay at this time. *DutiesPerform professional hair cutting, coloring, styling, and finishing services tailored to each client’s preferences and hair typeOffer expert advice on hair care routines, products, and styling techniques to enhance client satisfactionUtilize salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records management, and retail sales trackingApply advanced techniques including hair extensions, eyelash extensions, hair threading, and makeup application to elevate client experiencesMaintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and ensuring compliance with health regulationsManage front desk responsibilities such as greeting clients, checking in appointments, and processing payments efficientlyMentor junior team members by sharing skills in color theory, retail math, upselling strategies, and customer service excellence*SkillsProven expertise in hair styling, coloring (including balayage and highlights), and haircutting techniques using tools like straight razorsStrong knowledge of salon retail sales strategies and upselling to promote product lines effectivelyExperience with salon management tasks including store management responsibilities and team mentoringProficiency in salon software systems such as MINDBODY for scheduling and client managementExcellent communication skills to connect with diverse clients and understand their beauty goalsKnowledge of sanitation protocols specific to cosmetology and barbering practices to ensure a safe environmentAbility to perform specialized services such as nail care, makeup application, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading Join our energetic team where your creativity is celebrated!
