Rock Paper Scissors Salon & Med Spa is a thriving, independently owned salon and spa located in Rochester’s Neighborhood of the Arts. We are known for elevated services, exceptional hospitality, continued education, and a collaborative environment where beauty professionals receive meaningful support as they grow their careers and clientele.

Rock Paper Scissors Salon & Med Spa is looking for a talented, motivated esthetician who wants to help us build something exceptional.

RPS is a thriving, established salon with a large client base, a strong community, and the infrastructure to support a successful esthetics business. Our esthetics department has tremendous room for growth, and we’re looking for a true go-getter who is excited to help take it to the next level.

This is a full-time independent rental opportunity. You’ll have the freedom to create your own schedule and manage your business, but we are looking for someone who wants to establish a consistent presence, actively attract and retain clients, and make RPS their professional home.

You will not be building alone. Bring the energy, initiative, and willingness to grow, and we will match it. We’ll work alongside you to promote your services, connect you with our salon guests, develop new opportunities, and build a thriving esthetics department together.

This isn’t the kind of rental arrangement where you’re handed a key and left to figure everything out yourself. At RPS, you can essentially walk in and focus on providing excellent services.

Holds a current New York State esthetics licenseWants to build a substantial, full-time esthetics businessIs motivated, proactive, creative, and excited by growthWill maintain consistent availability and an active presence in the spaProvides high-quality services and an exceptional guest experienceIs dependable, professional, and communicativeIs willing to promote their services and connect with new guestsEnjoys being part of a team and contributing to a shared environmentWants support, but is also ready to take ownership of their successIs excited to help shape and grow an entire department

An established clientele is welcome, but it is not required. What matters most is your drive. RPS already has a busy salon, an extensive guest base, and meaningful opportunities for internal referrals. The foundation is here—we need someone excited to activate it.
