Responsibilities
Provide a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions using advanced techniques such as balayage and color theory principles.
Perform specialized treatments like eyelash extensions, threading, and nail care to enhance client beauty routines.
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with state and local regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client management, retail sales tracking, and retail math calculations.
Offer personalized consultations to understand client needs, communicate effectively about service options, and recommend suitable products or treatments.
Upsell retail products related to hair care, makeup application, and skincare to enhance client results and salon revenue.
Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in hair styling, barbering techniques like straight razor shaves, and customer service excellence.
Qualifications
Valid Cosmetology or Barbering license issued by the state of Georgia or surrounding areas.
Proven experience working in the beauty industry with proficiency in hair styling, coloring, extensions, and advanced techniques such as balayage or color correction.
Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and salon safety protocols.
Familiarity with salon management software like MINDBODY or similar platforms.
Excellent communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration.
Ability to perform diverse services including hair threading, makeup application, nail care, and eyelash extensions confidently.
Demonstrated ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
