Duties

Provide expert haircuts, styling, coloring, and hair extension services using current techniques such as balayage, highlights, and custom color blending.
Perform precise barbering services including straight razor shaves, beard trims, and classic cuts with attention to detail.
Apply eyelash extensions, nail care treatments, and makeup applications to enhance client beauty routines.
Offer retail sales of hair care products, cosmetics, and accessories through effective upselling and personalized recommendations.
Maintain salon cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
Use salon software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, process payments, and track retail inventory efficiently.
Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair threading, color theory, and customer service excellence while fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
Manage front desk duties including greeting clients warmly, scheduling appointments seamlessly, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Experience

Valid state licensure in Cosmetology and Barbering with proven experience in delivering diverse beauty services.
Demonstrated proficiency in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, extensions, and special treatments like keratin smoothing or texturizing.
Hands-on experience with salon management software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms for appointment booking and retail tracking.
Strong knowledge of sanitation protocols to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety within the salon environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients confidently while understanding their unique needs.
Experience in retail sales strategies including upselling products like hair care lines or skincare items to boost revenue.
Familiarity with advanced techniques such as eyelash extensions or nail care treatments is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential. Pay: $1,000.00 - $2,500.00 per week
