Licensed Cosmetologist — Part Time

Salon Pro Management (SPM) is hiring a part-time licensed cosmetologist for our salon inside a senior-living community in Nashville’s Green Hills area.

This is an opportunity for a professional stylist who enjoys providing excellent salon services while building meaningful relationships with regular clients.

The clients are already here. The salon is already here. SPM provides the operational structure that keeps everything running smoothly.

Compensation

50% commission + tips

This is a part-time W-2 position. There is no booth rent and no need to bring an existing clientele.

The Role

Services include:

Haircuts
Shampoo and styling
Perms
Hair color
Highlights
Basic grooming services

We are especially looking for someone who is confident and experienced with perms, color, and highlights.

Schedule

Friday availability is required.

This position is expected to be approximately 5–15 hours per week, with additional opportunities possible as resident demand and our team grow.

Who Fits SPM

You don't need previous senior-living salon experience.

We're looking for a licensed professional who is dependable, comfortable working independently, and genuinely enjoys taking care of people.

One of the best parts of working in a senior-living salon is getting to know your clients. You'll see many of the same residents regularly, learn how they like their hair, hear their stories, and become a familiar part of their routine.

Some residents may need a little extra time or assistance in the salon. What matters to us is that every person in your chair receives the same respect, attention, and quality of service you would want for any longtime client.

SPM takes care of the structure behind the salon—from scheduling and community coordination to the systems that keep things running smoothly—so you aren't left trying to manage everything yourself.

We're looking for someone who wants to do good work, build real relationships with their clients, and be part of a salon residents genuinely enjoy coming to.

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5.0 – 15.0 per week
