Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Licensed Cosmetologist to join our salon family! The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various cosmetology services and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills. This role requires a "team-player" mentality with a commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation, professionalism, and attention to detail. Responsibilities

Provide a variety of cosmetology services.
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workspace.
Must be a team player!
Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude in the salon.
Utilize our salon software for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Engage with clients to assess their needs and recommend appropriate services or products.
Build and foster meaningful client relationships.
Assist with front desk operations including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and handling payments.
Effectively educate clients on home care routines.
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere that emphasizes guest services.

Requirements

A valid SC Cosmetology license with experience in various beauty treatments.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Experience in retail sales within the beauty industry.
Familiarity with color theory and techniques related to hair coloring and styling.
Knowledge of sanitation practices specific to the SC cosmetology guidelines.
Passionate about the beauty industry and staying up to date with current industry-related trends.
