Licensed Cosmetologist

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and energetic Licensed Cosmetologist to join our dynamic beauty team! It’s commission based for the first 90 days with a 70/30 split then booth rent at $195 per week . Hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10am to 7 pm Saturday 10am to 5pm close sunday and Monday. Your expertise in cosmetology will help create personalized looks, promote client satisfaction, and uphold the highest standards of salon safety and sanitation. All services provided are paid positions, including internships, ensuring you gain valuable experience while earning.

Duties

Perform a variety of beauty treatments including hair styling, hair extensions, barbering, and esthetic laser treatments with precision and professionalism
Apply color theory principles to achieve the perfect hair color results tailored to each client’s preferences
following strict sanitation and disinfection procedures
Provide eyelash extensions, hair threading, and other specialty services to enhance clients’ natural beauty
Maintain a clean, safe work environment by adhering to salon safety protocols and sanitation standards at all times
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide good service.
Stay current with industry trends and new techniques in cosmetology to continually improve service quality

Qualifications

Valid state cosmetology license with comprehensive knowledge of salon safety protocols and sanitation procedures
Proven experience working in the beauty industry with skills in hair styling.
Strong understanding of color theory and application techniques for hair coloring services
Knowledge of disinfection procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their beauty goals
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Passion for continuous learning about new beauty trends, tools, and techniques.
