Licensed Cosmetologist (2yrs exp req)

Job Overview
We are seeking talented and passionate Hair Stylists and Barbers, to join our dynamic team. We have a luxurious high end facility, a salon coach, and onsite training. We use a level system to promote growth and enhance earning potential.
We believe in creating and maintaining a culture where both stylists and guests feel comfortable, confident, and inspired. The ideal candidate will be kind and humble, and have a strong foundation in hair cutting, coloring, and styling techniques. A minimum of two years experience is required.

You will be responsible for delivering a range of hair services while ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for guests and coworkers.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality hair styling services, including cutting, coloring, and treatments.
Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate services and retail products.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and techniques.
Maintain sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations.
Utilize salon software such as Meevo for scheduling and client management.
Assist with front desk duties, including appointment scheduling and retail sales.
Help keep salon clean.
Mentor associate stylists and provide guidance on techniques and customer service.
Promote additional services offered.
Assist with inventory levels of products used in the salon and assist with store management tasks.
Mandatory staff meetings the first Tuesday of every month from 9:00 am to 11:00 am; followed by PDMs (Private development meetings) also mandatory.

Qualifications

Valid cosmetology or barbering license is required.
At least two years experience.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
Experience using salon software systems; familiarity with Meevo is a plus.
Ability/ willingness to sell retail.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Knowledge and drive to attract clients to the salon.

Pay: $15.00 - $55.00 per hour
