Duties
Provide expert hair styling, cutting, coloring, braiding, loc maintenance, and other cosmetology services tailored to each client’s preferences.Perform specialized treatments such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading with precision and care.Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace by adhering to strict sanitation protocols and safety standards.Utilize salon management software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, update client records, and process retail sales efficiently.Offer professional advice on hair care products, retail items, and upselling opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.Assist with front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, managing bookings, answering inquiries, and supporting store management tasks.Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair styling, color theory application, and customer service excellence to foster a collaborative environment.Qualifications
Valid cosmetology or barbering license required; additional certifications in eyelash extensions or nail care are a plus.Proven experience in hair styling, coloring, braiding, loc maintenance or related beauty services.Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and safety standards within a salon setting.Familiarity with salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling and retail management.Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients and understand their needs effectively.Knowledge of retail math principles for upselling products confidently without pressure.Ability to perform detailed work including hair extensions installation, straight razor shaves, makeup application, and hair threading with precision.Join us in creating stunning transformations while enjoying the support of a professional team dedicated to your growth!
