Duties

Perform a wide range of beauty services including hair styling, hair extensions, nail care, makeup application, eyelash extensions, and body waxing with precision and care.
Conduct advanced treatments such as dermabrasion, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, esthetic laser procedures, and tattooing to meet diverse client needs.
Manage client consultations to recommend suitable services and products based on individual preferences and skin or hair type.
Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene in all treatment areas following health regulations.
Utilize salon management software like Millennium and MINDBODY to schedule appointments, update client records, and process retail sales efficiently.
Engage actively in social media management by showcasing client transformations, promoting special offers, and building our online community.
Provide excellent guest services by ensuring a friendly atmosphere, addressing client inquiries promptly, and upselling retail products or additional treatments to enhance their experience.
Assist with front desk responsibilities including appointment booking, check-ins, payments, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Conduct product demos to educate clients about skincare lines, hair products, or cosmetic tools to encourage retail sales.

Requirements

Valid cosmetology license or esthetician certification required; additional certifications in botulinum toxin treatment, dermal fillers, laser treatments or tattooing are highly desirable.
Proven experience in a salon or med spa environment with knowledge of advanced beauty procedures such as hair threading, straight razor shaves, facial treatments, and massage therapy.
Strong management skills with familiarity using salon software like Millennium or MINDBODY for scheduling and record-keeping.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide personalized consultations and build lasting client relationships.
Demonstrated expertise in social media management for marketing purposes and engaging with online audiences.
Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff at all times.
Ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a genuine focus on guest satisfaction.
Experience in retail sales within the beauty industry is preferred; familiarity with color theory and makeup application techniques is a plus.
