Licensed barbers and stylists

Chairs Barber Studio is hiring licensed barbers & stylists — Echo Park, Los Angeles

Chairs Barber Studio is looking for licensed barbers and stylists who take real love and pride in their craft and how they treat the people in their chair. 5+ years experience preferred, but we're also open to newly licensed barbers who are serious about the craft and eager to grow.

We took over a beloved 12-year neighborhood shop on Sunset Blvd in April 2025, and we've spent the year since rebuilding it into something a little different — barbershop and wellness.

Alongside cuts, fades, and shears, we offer barber skin facials and hair & body wellness consults by our lead expert, so clients can come to us for more than a haircut.

Whether you've already got a loyal clientele or you're ready to start building one in a neighborhood that shows up for its shops, we want people who want to grow with us.

What We Offer

* A professional booking and checkout system, appointment-based with steady foot traffic

* Commission-based compensation, opportunity to help add to your books

* A clean, intentionally designed space in Echo Park

* Exposure to facial and skin/wellness consult services alongside traditional barbering

* A supportive shop culture

* Room to grow as Chairs continues to expand

We're Looking For

* Licensed barbers or cosmetologists - part time / full time

* Strong fades, shear work, and craftsmanship

* Genuine customer service instincts and professionalism

* Reliable, motivated, collaborative-minded

* Punctual and efficient with their time

* Barbers who care about the work and want to keep sharpening their skills

We're building a team that cares about doing great work, treating clients right, and carrying forward the trust this shop already earned over 12 years in the neighborhood.
