Theory Salon & Barbershop is seeking experienced and professional Barbers to join our growing team at the Detroit Arsenal Military Base location. This position is ideal for barbers who are passionate about men’s grooming, committed to delivering excellent customer service, and experienced working with diverse hair textures and styles.

Perform professional men’s haircuts, fades, beard trims, and grooming services for clients of all hair textures and backgroundsProvide exceptional customer service and create a positive client experienceMaintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards in accordance with industry regulationsManage appointment scheduling and client services using salon booking systems when neededRecommend grooming products and services based on client needsMaintain a professional appearance and uphold the standards of Theory Salon & BarbershopWork collaboratively with team members to maintain an efficient and welcoming shop environmentQualifications
Active barber or cosmetology license required based on state regulationsExperience cutting and grooming men’s hair in a professional barbershop or salon settingStrong clipper, fading, and precision cutting skillsExperience working with all hair textures and styles preferredExcellent communication and customer service skillsProfessional, reliable, and team-oriented attitudeAbility to work part-time hours Tuesday–Thursday from 9AM–2PM
