Lead Receptionist (Management Position)

Salon Kreed is the forefront leader in the greater Colorado Springs area for trends in the hair industry. We pride ourselves on professionalism and customer relations. Our goal is to be the top grossing salon in all of Colorado.

The Lead Receptionist is responsible for the first and last impression of every individual that walks through the front door. You will be accountable for ensuring that all front desk employees understand practices and the entry and exit aesthetic experience; visually and relationally. You will be expected to mitigate customer complaints and issues; or refer them to the Salon Manager when a resolution cannot be reached. The lead receptionist will communicate directly with the Salon Manager in regard to client information.

Key Responsibilities

Set the example of professionalism and charisma of Salon Kreed in all interactions with customer and coworkers
Answer any questions and check clients in
Be service oriented (i.e. offer refreshments, check their coat, be interested in them, provide smock for specific services)
Take all phone calls and direct as necessary
Communicate upcoming sales and events
Ensure all services and products provided are accounted on each transaction
Make sure the client profile is accurate and updated (contact, services, preferences, birthday, etc.)
Always offer to rebook and suggest the option of booking online if they would prefer to do it themselves
Follow salon floor duties to ensure cleanliness and organization (including restocking of retail)
Ensure proper data entry, filing of daily receipts, invoices, tips, inventory etc.
Training and scheduling of front desk
Last minute coverages for call offs and scheduling issues.
Communication with stylists for directions on how they would like situations addressed with their clients.
First touch point for customer complaints before directed to the manager or owner.
With management, enforcing protocols like dress code and call offs.
Monthly meetings with front desk staff.

Requirements and Skills

Competency of computer literacy and basic data entry
Service focused
Professionally maintained appearance
Excellent written and verbal communication

Quick determination of non emergency vs. emergency
Fluent in English

Pay and Grow with Salon Kreed

Pay starts at 18$ during training. Once training is completed and you begin solo shifts, it will be bumped to 20$. Goals will then be set for you to hit for ensuing raises. You will also be able to earn metric based bonuses at that point.
