Lead Nail Technician / Salon Lead

About the Role

Shaa Nail & Wellness is looking for an experienced Lead Nail Technician to help build, train, and support our nail team. This role is ideal for someone who is skilled, professional, calm under pressure, and confident in both nail services and client care.

The Lead Nail Technician should be able to perform all core Shaa services, train other technicians, support daily salon operations, handle client concerns, help manage monthly supplies and stock, and maintain a clean, organized, high-quality work environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality manicures, pedicures, gel polish, Gel-X, builder gel/BIAB, Dazzle Dry, and nail art
Train new and existing nail technicians on Shaa’s service standards
Help handle client concerns, redo requests, and service issues professionally
Help manage daily salon flow, appointment timing, client notes, and POS/booking system support
Help maintain cleanliness, organization, supplies, and service consistency
Help manage salon supplies and product inventory, including monthly stock checks and reporting low-stock items to management
Communicate with management about team performance, client feedback, supply needs, and training needs
Follow strict sanitation standards, including autoclave use and professional disinfectant protocols
Lead with professionalism, kindness, and strong teamwork

Qualifications:

Current Oklahoma Nail Technician or Cosmetology License
Strong experience in manicure and pedicure services
Must be confident with gel polish, Gel-X, builder gel/BIAB, and nail art
Strong sanitation habits and attention to detail
Good leadership, communication, and customer service skills
Ability to train and support other technicians
Calm and professional when handling client concerns
Reliable, organized, and team-focused
Salon lead, trainer, inventory support, or management experience is a plus

Pay:

Estimated total earnings of $900-$1,200 per week, including base pay, 100% tips, and bonus opportunities. Final pay depends on schedule, client volume, skill assessment, leadership experience, quality, speed, and client care. Lead technicians are eligible for monthly personal revenue bonuses and quarterly team bonuses.

Job Type: Full-time preferred, W-2 employee position
Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week, weekend availability required.

We focus on natural nails, thoughtful details, gentle service, and high-quality work. Our services include manicures, pedicures, gel polish, Gel-X, builder gel/BIAB, Dazzle Dry, nail art, and wellness-inspired pedicure services. We do not focus on acrylic or dip.
