Responsibilities:
Perform a wide array of hair services including cutting, styling, advanced coloring techniques (balayage, ombre, color correction), and treatments. Lead and mentor a team of talented hair stylists and colorists, providing ongoing training and development opportunities. Develop and implement salon service standards and operational procedures to ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience. Conduct in-depth client consultations, understanding their needs, lifestyle, and preferences to deliver personalized hair solutions. Stay ahead of industry trends by attending educational events, workshops, and trade shows, bringing new techniques and ideas back to the salon. Manage salon inventory for hair products and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective purchasing. Contribute to marketing efforts by showcasing creative work through social media and salon promotions. Maintain a strong personal client following, building and nurturing long-term relationships. Ensure the salon environment is impeccably clean, organized, and welcoming for all clients and staff. Assist with hiring and onboarding new salon team members, evaluating technical skills and cultural fit. Uphold the salon's reputation for exceptional customer service and artistic integrity. Qualifications:
California Cosmetology License required. A minimum of 7 years of professional experience as a Hair Stylist, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role. Demonstrated expertise in all facets of hair coloring, including advanced techniques and color correction. Proven experience in advanced cutting and styling for various hair types and textures. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. A strong portfolio showcasing creative talent and a sophisticated eye for style. Ability to inspire and motivate a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. In-depth knowledge of professional haircare products and treatments. Proficiency in managing salon operations and staff scheduling is a plus. Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with global hair trends.
