GENERAL SUMMARY & SCOPE

The Lead Hair Stylist is essential in engaging and consulting with guests on their hair care needs. With a focus on enhancing the guest's overall look, you will deliver high-quality styling services while collaborating with the Experience Manager and Assistant Services Manager. PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver hair services, including haircuts, coloring, styling, treatments, and makeup applications.Achieve an average weekly sales target of $1250 and contribute to the store's retail and service success.Engage guests through product demonstrations that enhance their experience.Support marketing initiatives and in-store events to elevate guest interaction.Stay informed on industry trends and product knowledge to provide informed recommendations.Maintain exemplary attendance and punctuality.People

Foster guest relationships through personalized consultations and service recommendations.Serve all guests promptly, ensuring a memorable experience.Collaborate with skin therapists and retail teams for a comprehensive guest experience.Promote loyalty programs and Ulta Beauty app to enhance guest engagement.Participate in training sessions for ongoing professional development.Process

Adhere to Ulta Beauty's policies and operational standards.Comply with safety and sanitation protocols to ensure guest safety.Follow established service protocols for a consistent and quality guest experience.Utilize booking systems for guest appointments and events.Communicate supply needs for uninterrupted service delivery.Maintain cleanliness in all assigned areas, promoting a welcoming environment.Follow dress code guidelines and uphold company professionalism.Protect company assets through adherence to loss prevention practices.Execute additional operational tasks as needed.JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Valid cosmetology license.ExperienceRelevant prior experience is required.SkillsProficient in hair styling techniques and knowledgeable about products.Strong communication skills.Able to work independently and in teams.Skilled at building lasting customer relationships.SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTSFlexibility to work varying shifts including evenings and weekends.WORKING CONDITIONS

The salary for this position ranges from $16.00 to $20.20 per hour, or pay based on services provided, influenced by qualifications and experience.
