Key Responsibilities Perform advanced hair coloring services, including balayage, ombre, highlights, color correction, and vivid colors. Provide precision hair cutting and styling services for all hair types and textures. Conduct thorough client consultations to understand their hair goals and recommend appropriate services and styles. Educate clients on hair care maintenance and product recommendations. Mentor and train junior stylists, sharing expertise in color theory and application techniques. Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and products in hair color and styling. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped workstation. Build and maintain a strong, loyal client base through exceptional service. Represent the salon at industry events or continuing education as needed for our Durham, North Carolina location. Requirements Valid Cosmetology license in the state of North Carolina. Minimum of 7 years of professional experience as a hair stylist, with a significant focus on advanced color techniques. Proven expertise in a wide range of coloring methods and corrective color. Demonstrated proficiency in cutting and styling techniques for diverse hair types. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client relationship skills.
