Join our salon as an experienced assistant and stylist, bringing skill, care, and energy to every client visit. You’ll support daily salon operations while delivering thoughtful hair services and helping clients choose products and styles that suit their needs. This role is suited to someone with beauty industry experience who communicates confidently and works with care.

Duties

Consult with clients, discuss their preferences, and provide hair styling, coloring, and hair care services.Apply relevant skills in cosmetology, color theory, barbering, straight-razor techniques, hair threading, and hair extensions, as appropriate to your experience.Support appointments and salon operationsMaintain clean, sanitary work areas and tools, and assist with store management, retail sales, and product recommendations.Mentor team members and use retail math and thoughtful upselling to support informed client choices.Your impact: By listening closely and delivering services that fit each client’s goals, you help clients feel confident and make their salon visits more rewarding.

Qualifications

Experience working in the beauty industry, with demonstrated hair styling and customer service skills.Strong communication and client communication skills, including the ability to explain service options clearly.Knowledge of sanitation practices and hair care; experience with hair coloring is valuable.Retail sales, store management, mentoring, retail math, and upselling experience are helpful.Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
