Compensation

$18.50–$19.50 per hour

Responsibilities

Assist guests, students, and visitors with questions regarding services, products, educational programs, and location information
Provide exceptional guest service and personalized product recommendations
Achieve and exceed retail sales goals
Support daily front desk and retail operations
Perform opening and closing procedures as assigned
Accurately balance cash and credit card transactions
Maintain cleanliness and organization of retail and guest areas
Support team members and contribute to a positive workplace culture
Uphold Dosha Salon Spa and Aveda Institute Portland brand standards and dress code

Requirements

Minimum one year of customer service experience (retail, hospitality, guest services, or admissions preferred)
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
Ability to problem-solve and create positive guest experiences
Outgoing, self-motivated, and team-oriented demeanor
Comfortable working with diverse personalities
Basic computer proficiency
Schedule flexibility, including evenings and weekends
Reliable transportation and ability to travel between Dosha Salon Spa locations and Aveda Institute Portland campuses as needed
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
Authorized to work in the United States

Work Location

This position may provide support at both Dosha Salon Spa locations and Aveda Institute Portland campuses based on business needs. Team members should be comfortable working in both salon/spa and educational environments while delivering exceptional service to guests, students, and visitors.
