Junior Hair Stylist

Job Summary

Hair Priority Healthy Hair and Scalp Wellness Salon is seeking a motivated Junior or Mid Level Stylist who is passionate about healthy hair care, scalp wellness, and client education. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Master Healthy Hair Care Expert, assisting with services while receiving hands-on training in advanced hair and scalp wellness techniques. This position is ideal for a stylist who wants to grow a loyal in-house clientele and become known for results-driven, healthy hair transformations.

Position Purpose
The purpose of this role is to:

Assist the Master Stylist in delivering exceptional, healthy hair and scalp services
Gain real-world experience and education in holistic, healthy hair care
Learn and embody “The Hair Priority Way” of intentional, wellness-focused hair care
Your enthusiasm, professionalism, and willingness to learn will help us create memorable salon experiences that keep clients coming back.
Get a good knowledge and skill base to take over your own commission based clientele

Key Responsibilities

Assist with client prep, shampoos, treatments, blow-dries, and basic styling
Support healthy hair and scalp services (treatments, steaming, detoxes, etc.)
Maintain a clean, organized, luxury-level salon environment
Educate clients on at-home care and product usage (with training provided)
Participate in ongoing training, classes, and coaching with the Master Stylist
Provide outstanding customer service, hospitality, and professionalism
Support/ Maintain a polished social media content (before/after photos, behind-the-scenes, etc., as needed)

What We’re Looking For

Valid In state cosmetology license
Strong interest in healthy hair, hair growth, and scalp wellness
Coachable, eager to learn, and open to feedback
Professional appearance and excellent communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Comfortable working in a tranquil, wellness-focused environment
