Duties
Support senior hairstylists with client consultations, shampooing, and preparation for styling or coloring servicesAssist with maintaining salon cleanliness and sanitation standards, including tools and workstationsLearn and perform basic hair styling, blowouts, and haircuts under supervisionHelp manage appointment scheduling using salon software such as MINDBODY or similar platformsProvide excellent customer service by engaging with clients, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experienceAssist with retail sales of hair care products, hair extensions, nail care items, and other salon merchandise through upselling techniquesSupport store management with front desk duties including check-in/check-out procedures and client communicationQualifications
Passionate about the beauty industry with a desire to develop skills in hair styling, coloring, barbering, and hair extensionsBasic knowledge of hair care products and techniques; experience working in a salon or related environment is a plusStrong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team membersAbility to follow sanitation protocols diligently and maintain a clean work environmentFamiliarity with salon software like MINDBODY is preferred but not required; willingness to learn new systems is essentialKnowledge of color theory, nail care, eyelash extensions, and retail math is advantageousValid cosmetology or barbering license or currently enrolled in a cosmetology programEmbark on an exciting career path where every day brings new opportunities to inspire confidence and beauty.
