Interim Salon Color Director

As the Interim Salon Color Director, you will play a vital role in leading, inspiring, and supporting the salon team while fostering a relentless pursuit of excellence. You’ll provide leadership on the salon floor, mentor and coach new artists, uphold salon standards, and contribute to the overall success of the team. You’ll work closely with the Salon Hair Director to ensure a unified leadership presence and a seamless guest and team experience.

Daymaking

Coaching & Mentorship

Serve as a floor leader to ensure quality control of both technical services and guest experienceProvide ongoing mentoring and education to inspire new artistsProvide real-time and scheduled career coaching sessions for studio artistsProvide ongoing coaching and encouragement to all color artists to foster individual growth, retention, and long-term career successMonitor and support team effectiveness by reviewing productivity, adjustments, and guest satisfactionConduct Safety, Sanitation, and Cleanliness ChecksSupport incentive contests by encouraging engagement and participationBuild a collaborative and supportive team culturePartner closely with the Hair Director and salon leadership team to ensure alignment and continuity in coaching and leadership

Meetings & Development

Participate in weekly salon leadership meetingsAttend semi-annual Salon MeetingAttend monthly Director CallPrepare and send weekly huddlesAttend relevant education sessions as required
