Job Summary

Independent Hairstylists – Booth/Chair Rental operate their own client-focused services in a salon setting. You’ll bring your skills in hair care, styling, coloring, and client communication to create a welcoming, professional experience. This independent rental opportunity is suited to stylists who can manage their services and client relationships while following salon policies and sanitation practices.

Duties

Provide hair styling, coloring, extensions, threading, and barbering services based on client needs and your qualifications.
Consult with clients, explain service options, and use clear communication to support informed choices.
Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow sanitation practices for tools and equipment.
Manage appointments and client records using salon software; familiarity with MINDBODY is helpful.
Support retail sales and appropriate upselling; apply retail math and store management skills to day-to-day business decisions. Your impact: Thoughtful consultations and consistent service help clients feel confident and return for care that suits their needs.

Qualifications

Experience working in the beauty industry and knowledge of cosmetology, hair care, hair styling, and color theory.
Skill with hair coloring and extensions; straight razor, barbering, and hair threading experience are useful.
Strong customer service, communication, and client communication skills.

Pay: $8.00 - $9.00 per hour
