Role Description This full-time, on-site Independent Contractor role is based in Detroit, MI and involves providing professional hair and/or health-related services to clients in a clinic or salon-style environment. Day-to-day responsibilities may include meeting with clients, performing scheduled services, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and documenting services provided in accordance with company standards. The contractor will manage their own schedule within agreed operating hours, support client consultations, and provide education on recommended products, treatments, or wellness practices. Additional tasks can include collaborating with team members, participating in promotional activities, and upholding all relevant safety, hygiene, and compliance guidelines.

Must my Licensed.

Demonstrated expertise in hair care, styling, or related health and wellness services, with a strong commitment to client safety and satisfaction.Ability to manage a full-time schedule as an independent contractor, including reliable time management, organization, and self-directed work habits.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients, conduct consultations, and explain services or treatment plans clearly.Attention to detail in maintaining a professional, hygienic work environment and following relevant local, state, and industry regulations.Relevant licenses or certifications required to perform hair or health services in Michigan, and willingness to maintain any continuing education as needed.Experience in a salon, clinic, or wellness setting is preferred, especially in a client-facing role.Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals on-site while maintaining the independence and responsibility of a contractor.Comfort with basic record-keeping, appointment management, and use of any point-of-sale or scheduling systems adopted by Anthem Hair & Health.
