Role Description As an Independent Hair Stylist at Lavish Hair and Makeup Studio, you will provide a full range of hair services, including consultations, cuts, color, styling, and treatment services tailored to each client’s needs and preferences. You will manage your own client appointments, maintain accurate records, and ensure a high standard of customer service from greeting clients through post-service care. Daily responsibilities include maintaining a clean and sanitized station, handling product usage and retail recommendations, and collaborating with other professionals in the studio to support a cohesive client experience. This is a full-time, on-site role located in San Francisco, CA, requiring reliable attendance, strong time management, and a professional demeanor. Qualifications

Licensed cosmetologist or hair stylist in the state of California, with proven experience providing professional hair services in a salon setting.Strong technical skills in cutting, coloring, styling, and hair treatments, with a commitment to ongoing education and staying current with trends and techniques.Excellent client service, communication, and consultation skills, including the ability to listen, recommend suitable options, and maintain long-term client relationships.Ability to work independently as an entrepreneur within the studio, manage scheduling, and handle basic business tasks such as payments and client follow-up.Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and attention to hygiene and safety standards, including adherence to all state and local health regulations.Comfort using social media and basic marketing tactics to promote services, showcase work, and grow a consistent client base.Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed, and contribute positively to a collaborative studio environment.
