We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Nail Technician / Salon Assistant to join our supportive, tight-knit team. This is a hands-on training opportunity for someone who is passionate about the beauty industry and eager to develop their skills in a professional salon environment.
This role combines nail technician training with assisting in the day-to-day flow of the salon. You'll work alongside experienced technicians, help prepare guests for their upcoming appointments, assist with setting up and breaking down service stations, and help ensure the salon runs smoothly throughout the day.
As your skills develop, you'll have opportunities to work with models, refine your techniques, and gradually take on more nail services with the goal of growing into an independent nail technician.
We're looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, takes initiative, and genuinely enjoys being part of a team.
Responsibilities
Help set up and break down manicure and pedicure stations between appointments.
Support the daily flow of the salon and anticipate where help is needed.
Keep workstations, tools, and common areas clean, organized, and stocked.
Assist with nail product removal and other services as training and experience allow.
Practice and develop manicure and pedicure techniques with models.
Learn Dazzle Dry and natural nail services.
Provide a welcoming, attentive experience for every guest.
Help with opening, closing, and general salon duties as needed.
Experience & Skills
Texas licensed Nail Technician or Cosmetologist (required).
Previous salon experience is a plus, but not required.
Eager to learn, take direction, and accept constructive feedback.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to develop technical skills.
Friendly personality with good communication and customer service skills.
Punctual, dependable, and professional.
Positive attitude, takes initiative, and enjoys working as part of a team.
Takes pride in cleanliness, organization, and maintaining a professional workspace.
