Overview Responsibilities Deliver professional hair styling, cutting, coloring, and hair extension services tailored to each guest’s preferences and features Perform barbering services including straight razor shaves, beard trims, and classic cuts with precision and care Apply eyelash extensions, eyelash lifts, and other lash enhancement treatments to elevate clients’ natural beauty Conduct esthetic treatments such as dermabrasion, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin injections, body waxing, and esthetic laser procedures Manage client consultations to understand their needs and recommend appropriate treatments or products Maintain rigorous sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Utilize salon software like Millennium or MINDBODY for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing retail sales Engage in social media management by showcasing work through photos and updates to attract new clients and promote services Assist at the front desk by greeting guests, booking appointments, processing payments, and providing excellent guest services Conduct product demos to educate clients on hair care products, skincare lines, or cosmetic items to boost retail sales Stay updated on current trends in hair styling, barbering techniques, lash extensions, makeup application, and other beauty treatments Proven experience as a hairstylist or barber with strong skills in cutting, coloring, styling, and grooming techniques Experience with eyelash extensions, lash lifts, dermal fillers, Botox treatments or esthetic laser procedures is highly desirable Knowledge of salon management software such as Millennium or MINDBODY is preferred Demonstrated ability in customer service with excellent communication skills to build lasting client relationships Familiarity with sanitation protocols specific to salons and spas to ensure compliance with health standards Background in retail sales of beauty products combined with upselling skills to enhance revenue opportunities Previous experience working in a med spa or luxury salon setting is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for continuous learning is essential This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your career within a supportive team dedicated to excellence in beauty care.
