The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented, dependable, and motivated Hairstylist / Makeup Artist to join our team on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

This is a part-time position offering approximately 15 to 25 hours per week, based on salon needs and client demand, with opportunities for additional hours and professional growth as the business continues to expand.

Compensation is available through a straight commission structure or an hourly versus commission structure, depending on experience and the agreed terms of employment.

The ideal candidate is passionate about their craft, takes pride in their work, and understands the importance of delivering a consistent, high-quality client experience.

Responsibilities

Provide professional blowouts, curls, styling, and updosPerform natural, soft glam, and full glam makeup applicationsConsult with clients to understand their preferences and desired resultsDeliver a welcoming, attentive, and professional client experienceMaintain a clean, organized workstation and follow all sanitation standardsEducate clients on professional products and at-home maintenanceSupport daily salon operations and work collaboratively with the teamBuild lasting client relationships and encourage repeat bookingsRepresent Vanity Beauty Lounge and its standards of service professionallyQualifications

Active Florida cosmetology license for hairstyling servicesExperience in professional hairstyling, blowouts, and makeup application preferredStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workProfessional, dependable, and punctualExcellent communication and customer service skillsComfortable working in a team-oriented salon environmentWillingness to learn, accept feedback, and continue developing professionallyAvailability to work Fridays, Saturdays, and SundaysMotivated to grow a clientele and contribute to the salon’s continued successWhy Join Vanity Beauty Lounge?
