Responsibilities

Provide professional hair styling, cutting, coloring, and finishing services tailored to each client’s preferences and features.
Perform specialized treatments such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading to enhance client beauty routines.
Use salon software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and streamline operations efficiently.
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
Offer expert advice on hair care products, retail sales, and upselling techniques to maximize client satisfaction and salon revenue.
Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, checking in appointments, and managing wait times with excellent communication skills.
Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair styling, color theory, makeup application, and retail sales strategies to foster a collaborative atmosphere.

Qualifications

Valid cosmetology or barbering license with comprehensive knowledge of current trends and techniques.
Experience with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care is highly desirable.
Proficiency with salon software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms for scheduling and client management.
Strong understanding of sanitation practices and store management principles to ensure a hygienic workspace.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients while providing personalized service.
Knowledge of retail math for effective upselling and retail sales strategies that enhance the client experience.
Ability to perform hair styling using various tools including straight razors while demonstrating attention to detail.
