Duties

Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions using advanced techniques like balayage or ombre.
Apply makeup and eyelash extensions to enhance clients’ natural beauty for special occasions or everyday wear.
Conduct hair threading and nail care treatments with precision and attention to detail.
Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records, and retail sales tracking.
Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Provide expert advice on hair care products and retail items through upselling techniques to boost sales.
Mentor junior team members and assist with front desk duties to create a seamless client experience from check-in to checkout.

Qualifications

Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations.
Proven experience in hair styling, coloring, and advanced techniques such as hair extensions or straight razor shaves.
Strong knowledge of color theory to achieve desired client results.
Familiarity with salon management software like MINDBODY for scheduling and retail operations.
Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and deliver personalized recommendations.
Ability to perform sanitation procedures diligently while maintaining a professional appearance.
Experience in retail sales, upselling, and retail math to maximize revenue opportunities.
