Hairstylist/Cosmetologist

Job Summary

Bring creativity and care to every appointment as a Hairstylist/Cosmetologist. You’ll consult with clients, recommend services that suit their needs, and deliver polished results across hair and beauty services. Duties

Provide hair styling, hair coloring, hair care, and hair extensions; apply color theory to guide service choices.Offer barbering services, including straight razor techniques, and hair threading, makeup application, and nail care as qualified.Communicate clearly with clients about preferences, service options, and at-home care.Maintain clean tools and work areas by following sanitation practices.Use salon software, including MINDBODY where applicable, to manage appointments and support store management; recommend relevant services through attentive, respectful upselling.Experience

Experience working in the beauty industry and a background in cosmetology are valued.Strong customer service, communication skills, and client communication are essential.Knowledge of hair styling, hair care, hair coloring, color theory, and sanitation is important.Experience with salon software, MINDBODY, hair extensions, barbering, straight razor work, hair threading, makeup application, or nail care is preferred.Mentoring or store management experience is a plus.Pay: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour
