Duties

Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, hair extensions, with precision and artistry
Use salon software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently
Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, sterilizing equipment, and adhering to health regulations
Provide personalized client consultations to understand their needs, recommend suitable services, and educate on hair care products and retail offerings
Upsell retail products such as hair care items, styling tools, and cosmetics to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
Mentor junior team members in technical skills like barbering with straight razors or color theory to foster a collaborative learning environment

Requirements

Valid cosmetology or barbering license with comprehensive knowledge of salon sanitation practices
Proven experience working in the beauty industry with expertise in hair styling, coloring, and customer service
Proficiency with salon management software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client communication
Strong communication skills to effectively connect with clients and understand their beauty goals
