Duties

Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and texturing to meet client needs and preferences
Apply hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading techniques with precision and care
Use salon software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and streamline daily operations
Provide expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail sales to enhance client satisfaction
Maintain strict sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and ensuring a hygienic environment at all times
Assist at the front desk with client check-ins, appointment confirmations, and retail product upselling
Mentor junior team members on techniques such as barbering with straight razors or advanced color theory applications

Requirements

Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience working in the beauty industry
Proficiency in salon software systems like MINDBODY for scheduling and client management
Strong knowledge of hair coloring techniques, hair styling trends, and hair care products
Experience with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills for client consultation and retail upselling opportunities
Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe salon environment
Ability to perform retail math calculations for upselling products effectively
Store management experience is a plus for those interested in leadership roles

Pay: $24.86 - $29.94 per hour
