Hairstylist/Colorist

Hair Bar NYC is a growing luxury salon company specializing in professional keratin treatments, hair color, extensions, and healthy hair services. With multiple locations across New York and Florida, we are committed to delivering an exceptional guest experience while continuing to expand our brand.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, blowouts, keratin treatments, extensions, and customized hair care recommendations.
Deliver every service with professionalism, attention to detail, and a luxury guest experience.
Perform thorough consultations to understand client goals and recommend the best services and products.
Learn and become certified in Hair Bar NYC's exclusive product line and service protocols.
Recommend retail products that support each client's results and home maintenance.
Build long-term relationships through excellent customer service and client retention.
Maintain accurate client records and service notes, following our procedures.
Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and professional salon environment.
Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth daily operations.
Stay current on industry trends while participating in ongoing education and in-house training.

Qualifications

Active Cosmetology License (New York or Florida, depending on location).
Experience behind the chair preferred.
Strong cutting, coloring, and styling skills.
Keratin experience is a plus, but training is provided.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced salon.
Passion for education and professional growth.
Sales confidence with retail recommendations and service upgrades.
