Job Requirements:
Previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required. High School diploma or GED preferred and must hold a valid licensure for the state. Knowledge of hair styles, hair care products and related procedures a must. Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills needed. Attending and participating in continuing education and training in order to follow new trends and techniques is essential.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs hair style consultation in order to decide what services the client needsProvides services to clients such as shampooing, cutting, styling, coloring and highlighting as desiredMaintains safety standards and cleanlinessEmphasizes product benefits and assist clients in the selection of retail products or services for their hair care needsMaintains a consistent relationship with client base in order to ensure return clientsProactively develop new customersAttends and participates in continuing education and training in order to follow new trends and techniques
