Duties

Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, hair extensions, and hair threading with precision and creativity
Provide expert nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements while maintaining top sanitation standard
Use salon software like Square for appointment scheduling, client records management, and retail sales tracking
Educate clients on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail options to boost sales and client satisfaction
Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace adhering to all health regulations and safety protocol
Upsell retail products such as hair care items and cosmetics to enhance client experiences and salon revenue

Qualifications

Valid cosmetology or barbering license; or nail technician licensing
Proven experience working in the beauty industry with expertise in hair styling, coloring, or nail care. At least 3 years of experience is required.
Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and safety standards in a salon setting
Familiarity with salon software systems like square for scheduling and retail management
Excellent communication skills for client consultations and personalized service delivery
Knowledge of color theory, hair extensions application, and retail math for upselling opportunities
Passion for continuous learning about new trends in hair styling, nail art, makeup application, and skincare
